I have been made aware that Elderly homeowners in Abbeydale have been contacted by roofing companies door to door, claiming they need urgent roof repairs and claiming large sums of money for unnecessary work/repairs to their roofs. Please be aware that not all such companies are trusted and reliable and one should seek advice before entering into any agreement for such works. Please help us raise awareness of this scam by informing your elderly or vulnerable relatives, friends and neighbours.
